There are a number of new products entering the market every year to rival the Bee-Bot and provide more tangible ways of engaging with programming – for example with coding blocks that are placed in sequence to program the Cubetto robot, or body parts of the Code-a-pillar that are connected together to make it move.

Here are some products that may be relevant for use with SEND learners working below National Curriculum level:
